Amnesty International Criticizes Czech Republic for Romanies’ Discrimination
The Czech Republic is one of the countries criticized by Amnesty International for discriminating against Romanies. For example, the level of education of all family members as a condition in flan allocation puts Romanies in disadvantage. Amnesty International report had also noticed an attempt of local authorities in north Moravia to separate women and men, living in a hotel house, and to house them in shelters for asylum seekers.
